PHOTOPHONIC REFLECTION: ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION ISSUES

Photophonic reflection on environmental pollution issues that I found is open burning at paddy land. Perlis and Kedah is state which have many paddy land. Kedah also famous which have many paddy land. Most of people in Kedah and Perlis will plant paddy to earn money as their income.

They will plant paddy twin a years. Every time when I want to go anywhere, I will pass by big paddy land. When I pass by I found they will open burning at paddy field. Every time after they harvest paddy, they will burn the grass that leave in paddy field. When burning, they will produce smoke which vapors and particulate matter which can impact human health.

The smoke is very smelly and bad to respiration system and eye. Besides that, the car will have very thick dust on surface of car. When people exposed to air pollution will experience eye and nose irritation, difficult breathing, coughing and headaches. Furthermore, the weather will very hot due to opening burning and very dangerous when they open burning.

Opening burning is not a new issues to people who stay at Kedah and Perlis. Opening burning is happen every year twin before I born until now. This problem haven’t solve by people in Kedah and Perlis. This seriously effect human health problem, air pollution problem and global warning.
