PHOTOPHONIC REFLECTION: ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY

 ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGY 

Photophonic reflection on biotechnology issues that I found is Malaysian use very much plastic. One morning when I having my breakfast, I found many Malaysian will use plastic to take away food even there have many awareness about recycle or less using plastic bag.

According to WWF report, plastics looked at China, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Phillippines, Thailand and Vietnam was contribute 60 per cents of the estimated 8 million tonnes of plastic bag. This plastic bag enter the world’s oceans each years and effect the creature under the sea.

Based on analysis of Asia’s worst ocean polluters shows Malaysians are the biggest individual consumers of plastic packaging. Malaysia are ranked as highest among the six countries analysed in terms of annual per-capita plastics packaging consumption about 16.8kg per person followed by Thailand at 15.5kg.
