For social innovation solution in environment pollution, I think farmer can convert the leaf in paddy land to animal feed. According MS Swaminathan, “Stubble is not burned in South India because there is economic value as animal feed,” said prominent agricultural scientist MS Swaminathan in a recent tweet.

I've been pointing out the many commercial uses of rice straw for years. Rather than making farmers perpetrators of environmental disaster, we could take a do-ecology approach with them to convert rice stubble into income. Besides that, we also can upcycle stubble to make products including paper, cardboard and animal feed.

Instead of burning the stubble, we also can use the Happy Seeder, a tractor-mounted machine, cuts and lifts rice straw, sows wheat into the bare soil, then deposits the straw over the sown area as mulch.

Last but not least, we can convert the leftover rice straw into pulp and further moulded to produce biodegradable cutlery. To separate the organic polymer from the cellulose, the straw is treated with a natural solvent, resulting in the development of pulp. After drying, the semi-solid mixture is moulded into biodegradable cups, plates, and jars. This entire activity is environmentally beneficial and long-term.

We can promote this using social media that this stubble have many value and we can create a website which sold this stubble and bought this stubble, then the farmer will collect and sold the stubble. The website can use by farmer and company such as produce animal feed company and straw company.

Besides that, we also gain the awareness that the straw and animal feed is good to health and environment. This will cause demand among the community, then only the company will take action to produce animals feed and this rice straw produce. This also will help farmer earn more money and company who produce to save money. There will be win win situation.
